This podcast, based on John Boyd’s slide Revelation from around 1987, defines a loser as an individual or group lacking the ability to create innovative solutions—symbolized by "building snowmobiles"—in times of uncertainty and change. A winner, by contrast, is someone or a group who can develop and appropriately apply such solutions under similarly challenging conditions. The text thus presents a binary view of success and failure in relation to adaptability. The underlying message appears to be the importance of innovation and decisiveness in the face of the unknown.
For optimal understanding, we recommend following each podcast with the corresponding presentation slides open.
